Hoy, escasos días despues de su lanzamiento, os traigo el álbum de debut de Them Crooked Vultures, de título homónimo.

El supergrupo, formado en Los Ángeles este mismo año, es una colaboración entre 3 titanes de la música como son Josh Homme de Kyuss y Queens Of The Stone Age, Dave Grohl, de Nirvana y Foo Fighters y John Paul Jones, de Led Zeppelin. El título, que seguramente hace referencia al hecho de que son unos viejos pájaros todos ellos, y habrá que esperar para ver si alcanzan la relevancia que deberían. Su primer trabajo es interesante, pese a que, desgraciadamente, el producto final no es igual a la suma de sus partes.

El grupo: The Coral are an English band formed in 1996 in Hoylake on the Wirral Peninsula in Merseyside. The band's music is a mixture of old-fashioned country, 1960s-style psychedelia and folk with modern rock influences. The Coral have released four albums. Their self-titled debut album was nominated for the 2002 Mercury Music Prize and later voted the fourth best album of the year by NME Magazine. It was announced on the 9th January 2008 that Bill Ryder-Jones would be leaving, but the band would continue as a 5-piece.
